Our Little Sweetie

Katelyn is really starting to develop a cute personality. She smiles a lot lately and has been "talking" too! She had her first experience in the pool a couple of days ago (only lasted a few minutes before she started to fuss). We are having so much fun with her around:)

We took Katelyn to have professional newborn pictures taken last week. She is one week old in these pictures and they turned out great! What a sweetheart:) We love her very much!

Brand New Baby Katelyn!

Katelyn is here!! This is Cameron writing in place of Summer. We have a baby girl that weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz. and 20 inches long. She is a rather large baby!! We'll post some pictures below so you all can see her.

She already loves her binkies and loves to be on her tummy. She even lifts her own head up off your chest when you're holding her. She makes the cutest little noises. Katelyn also is a wiggler!

Almost there!

Yep, the time is fast approaching! But not fast enough for Cameron:) He wants Katelyn to be here NOW! I'm at 34 weeks with 6 weeks to go. We're just about ready for her, though. Her nursery is all ready and the last thing left to do is get the hospital bags packed..

We're so excited! Ready or not, here she comes:)

Let's Celebrate!

Today I got to celebrate two very special things!

The first, of course, is that it's Mother's Day:) And this year is very different than past years because this year I not only got to celebrate my amazing mother, but I am a "soon to be mother". My husband was very sweet and bought me a beautiful corsage to wear to church, as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! I'm so excited to be a mommy soon!

I have a beautiful, wonderful mother. She has shown me what it means to be a good and loving mom. I love her very much!

A year ago to day I was able to marry my best friend! This year has been wonderful! I love Cameron even more now than I did then, and feel so lucky to have him for time and all eternity as my husband:)

Baby update & Easter fun:)

Yes, I'm finally back to update everyone on how we've been doing over the past month. Cam and I had a great Easter, spent at the Willden home in Lehi. Even though all us kids are all grown up we still had a traditional Easter egg hunt in the back yard, and we all cleaned up! In addition to receiving candy, each one of us got a few fun gift cards. One of the cards that I received was to, where else, Babies'R'Us:) I was very excited about that because that is one of my favorite stores at the moment.


I also put together an Easter basket for Cameron. I put a cute little pink bunny in it (okay its not for Cameron, its for Katelyn). I guess that you can say it was more for practice for next year:). Cam actually helped me pick it out. It matches the nursery perfectly.

The nursery is slowly coming together.

The baby and I are doing great! I am 28 weeks today and can't believe that I only have a couple more months to go! Every week Cam lets me know about how much longer we have until Katelyn arrives:) He can't wait to meet his little girl!
